Heating or no heating. Or the reverse.

There seems to be some complaining about the use of AC in labs on the other side of the Atlantic. My lab has no such thing.

My office faces west. In the morning it's cold because the heating is insufficient in winter or absent in summer. In the afternoon the sun shines on my side of the house and it's unbearably warm. Cannot open windows because the traffic outside is too noisy. Prefer to keep the door closed because the toilets are on the other side of the corridor and the coffee room close by. Noisy too. But - just as Isis the Scientist - I do know who washes their hands and who doesn't.
