Already disappointed with school

The Goose started school two weeks ago. According to the Trønder she was very disappointed the first week; she hadn't got any homework! They were just playing! What kind of school is that?* I'll cite that to her when she claims she has too much of it.
A future in academia seems to be both in her genes and environment. Both her parents and her parents' new partners have PhDs in some area of biosciences. If she want to rebel properly she'll become a creationist hairdresser believing in astrology and tarot cards.

*It is actually the Swedish non-compulsory but recommended pre-school year introducing six-year-olds to proper compulsory school starting at seven.
