From flowers to corn

My usual jogging route along the cliffs is beautiful. In clear weather I can see all the way from the Cotentin peninsula in the West to the cliffs north of Le Pont de Normandie (bridge crossing the Seine where the Seine runs into the English Channel) and the cliffs North of Le Havre. Last year there was an amazing field of flowers along parts of the road (the photos are from October)


I really looked forward to seeing them this year as well, so imagine my disappointment when I went there early October this year and found a corn field.
