Maternal effects

Over at one of my favourite blogs, FemaleScienceProfessor is afraid she might be turning into her mother. If you're female, I think turning into your mother is close to inevitable; I see my mother and her sisters turning more and more into my Gran and myself into my Mom each time we meet. Frustrating maybe, but then both my mother and my Gran are pretty cool. In fact they're awesome.
