Leg before wicket

As I said in an earlier post, I had to sit through some cricket during the weekend to made my man happy. I have never had the faintest clue about the game till now, but it was actually kind of fun. Especially since we saw Canada vs. England. Or maybe because I was fed Murphy's Irish Red all the time. Who knows. According to the cricket World Cup 2007 homepage , Canada has played 11 matches and lost 10. But they apparently did very well against England. And the best thing; I finally found out what leg before wicket is. I think I can even explain it if someone asks.
